2. Masa – New York, United States

Masa is run by chef Massa Takayama and can be found in the hustle and bustle of New York City. A meal at this restaurant can cost as much as $1000+ per head, excluding taxes and extra drinks. Aragawa can be found in Tokyo, Japan, in the basement of an old office building. Aragawa does not offer a tasting menu as most high-end restaurants do. Instead, they offer an a la carte menu—prices per head cost around $400 .

4. Ithaa Undersea – Maldives
