The symbols used in Terracotta Army are both basic and special. The basic symbols consist of four banners and four distinct warriors, while the unique symbols are Sticky Mystery, Wild, Mystery, and Scatter. With the exception of the scatter, which can start the free game mode, all other symbols can be substituted for the wild.

The three middle reels are where mystery symbols can appear, and when they do, they expand to create more winning combinations. With a random Ways Multiplier ranging from 2x to 5x, every Mystery Symbol reveals the same randomly selected regular symbol.

The Terracotta Army slot machine mostly pays off during the Free Spins feature. To activate the bonus, you must land at least three Scatter symbols anywhere in view during the main game. Each Scatter that triggers reveals a +1 Sticky Mystery Symbol or a +1 Extra Spin. The quantity of triggering Scatters determines whether Mystery Symbols and bonus spins are awarded.

Reels 2, 3, and 4 have Sticky Mystery Symbols in the lowest spots. Up to nine Sticky Mystery Symbols can be obtained until every spot on those reels is occupied. For every Scatter that lands during the feature, one additional Sticky Mystery Symbol is given out. They also award an additional +1 bonus spin.

Every Scatter is also added to the unique metre that is positioned above the reels. The lowest lower symbol is eliminated from the reels for the duration of the bonus game for each three Scatters that are acquired. That way, up to three symbols can be eliminated.
