Developer StakeLogic has created another spin on the classics with Star Staxx, which combines a sophisticated modern gaming style with a nostalgic concept to bring new and potent elements to fans of the genre. The standard 3-row, 5-reel grid has regular symbols on it. Most wins come from the supplementary Prize Reel, which is positioned atop the primary arrangement.

The main reels have 20 fixed win lines that are created using a bothways pay system. Payouts are awarded when three or more matching symbols appear adjacent to each other, beginning on the leftmost or rightmost reel. In total, there are ten pay symbols.
