Excellent graphics and animations characterise the 5x3 configuration of the Merlin: Journey of Flame slot machine. Considering the character on whom it is based, it is not strange that it has a somewhat magical/fantasy slot machine aesthetic. 

The slot machine has a Book of mechanics, but it's in a different well-known scene. Even if this slot machine isn't as Egyptian-themed as most, it's nonetheless really thrilling. In fact, the mechanism might function better on the knights' table. Although there aren't many features, you do get an extra sixth reel with an expander in the bonus round and a wild/scatter book.

When five of a kind wins, the premium symbols payout between 50 and 500 times your stake; when six of a kind wins, they pay out between 100 and 750 times your investment. Only after the bonus round's sixth reel is unlocked is the latter feasible. In this game, the Dragon Egg Wild sign doubles as the scatter symbol and can be used to replace any pay symbol to help complete and/or enhance wins.

When three, four, or five dragon egg scatter/wilds appear in view, the Bonus Round is triggered, awarding you with eight bonus spins. Additionally, the sixth reel is active during the bonus round, and you can win 2x, 20x, or 200x your bet upfront. 

All of the instances spread out to fill the entire reel when you land enough of them to use the selected symbol to create a win. The selected symbols don't need to be next to each other to produce complete reel winnings; they can land anywhere in the field of vision. 

You can choose to gamble your gains in a double, quadruple, or nothing card guessing game by using the optional Gamble function. If you guess the wrong colour or suit, you lose everything. If you guess the right colour or suit, you win twice or four times, respectively.
