Playtech Origins' Honey Gems game transports players to an intriguing realm through its 61-cell, honeycomb-shaped grid. By eschewing conventional paylines in favour of Cluster Pays features, the game presents a novel strategy for winning. Players must place clusters of five or more matching symbols touching one another in order to win prizes. 

There must be five to sixty-one adjacent (touching) symbols in the winning clusters. Payouts up to 45+ symbols in a type are the maximum. Payouts for Honey Queen range from 1x to 50x the total bet. Cherries, Blueberries, and Grapes award up to x12, while strawberries award up to x20. Multicoloured jewels represent the low-value symbols.

A golden honeycomb with a 2X multiplier is the Wild Multiplier Symbol. It can show up anywhere, but it won't work unless you land a winning cluster without the Wild in order to trigger the Sticky Respins.

When you make a win anywhere on the grid and at least one Wild Multiplier Symbol appears on the screen, the Sticky Respins begin. While the other symbols respin, the Wild Multiplier and all variants of the winning symbol turn sticky and remain on the reels. You will receive another respin if you land one or more of the identical symbols anywhere, regardless of whether they are involved in a win or not. If you land another Wild, the same rules apply.

The Wild Multiplier, which begins at 2X, gains 1 for each respin after the first, and the feature lasts as long as you land new symbols. Any cluster that lands on a Wild Multiplier multiplies the winnings by the multiplier's value. The multipliers of any multiple Wild Multipliers that come into contact with the same winning cluster multiply each other.

The beehive-themed Scatter Symbols can land on reels 4, 5, 6, or 7 to award 6, 8, 10, or 12 free spins. Sticky Wild Multipliers that remain on the reels for the duration of the spinning session are added by the queen bee. Similar to the original game, any winning cluster initiates the Sticky Respins, and the multipliers never reset in between the spins.
