The Manimals online slot machine is played on a layout of 5 reels with 4 rows each at the start of the game. The reels may expand to have up to 8 rows each, giving you up to 32,768 ways to win. You may win the game by landing three or more matching symbols across adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. The winning symbols will be removed to trigger the Cascading Symbol mechanic. This mechanic gives you a chance to land more winning symbols as new symbols fall in.

The symbols of the game are represented by lower-value card royals and higher-value animal character symbols such as a shark, a gorilla, a tiger, and a dinosaur asd the most valuable. These are accompanied by the Wild symbol which may appear on the last four reels only. Wilds may substitute for all regular symbols in the game, helping you complete winning combinations.

As you spin the reels, Reel Modifiers may randomly appear on the grid and replace any symbol type aside from the Wild and Scatter symbols. There are three Modifiers here: 

• Stacks Modifier - replaces up to 8 symbols in the base game, and up to 16 in the free spins, with higher-value symbols.
• Quake Modifier - destroys all lower-value symbols from the grid, triggering a cascade.
• Blaster Disaster Modifier - only available in the base game; when orange grenades appear, connected symbols are removed and replaced with new symbols.

The Manimals free spins bonus may be activated by landing three or more Scatters on the reels. The feature is set in the middle of a Battle Arena where you may receive up to 15 free spins depending on the number of triggering symbols. You may win extra spins by landing more Scatters.

During the free spins bonus, the reels may expand and persist until the end of the feature. Wilds may only appear on the last three reels when symbols are split. However, these may stay on the reels when they appear. The Stacks and Quake modifiers may activate more often during the bonus.
