In 2022, the average rate of inflation in Canada was 6.80%, a 3.41% increase from the previous year. Rising prices have made it difficult for people to afford necessities such as electricity and groceries, as well as guilty pleasures such as McDonald’s or KFC.
But how has inflation affected the prices of our favourite fast food restaurants? Our slots experts at Spin Genie have investigated the increasing prices of fast food menu items. We’ve looked at the prices of fast food chains in 2014 and compared them to now to reveal the restaurants with the biggest increase in price, the menu items that have increased the most, and what could be the most expensive items in 30 years.
