Methodology
All information on the most expensive and most affordable tickets was sourced from VIPTicketsCanada. This data shows the ticket prices for upcoming major sports events across North America. We specifically looked at the cost of package prices and what they offer. Not all sporting teams were included in this research, primarily only the top teams in each league. Sporting events that didn’t offer a package price were not added to the list.
For each sport, we looked at each package price for approximately ten games per sports team. The dates for each upcoming game range anywhere from the end of March to October. Please note that this was solely based on the months available on the site.
Each ticket package price was then ranked to find the most expensive and least expensive VIP tickets. For the most affordable tickets section, there were numerous games set at the same price, hence we only featured the teams with the most affordable ticket packages.
Please note all prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Data collection for this research was completed on 08/03/2023.
