5. Serums & Essences - 54,000 ads

Skincare products such as serums and essences are central to many beauty routines. Given the rise of skincare on TikTok, many users demonstrate the effectiveness of serums and essences through close-up application and before-and-after comparisons. Popular skincare brands like The Ordinary have official TikTok shop storefronts. The Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is one of the most popular serums with over 6,700 sales and an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars.

6. Lipstick & Lip Gloss - 54,000 ads

The hashtags that have been used the most in the US in the previous 120 days (as of August 13th). This was then also split by category.

Trending sounds

The sounds that have been used the most in the US in the previous 120 days (as of August 13th). We then sourced the number of TikTok videos that each of these songs appears in as of the same date and ranked the songs based on this.

Trending products

The products on TikTok shop with the highest number of ad creatives featuring this product globally.

Trending creators

The 100 current trending creators as listed by TikTok, we ranked these based on their current number of followers.
